The World Famous Williams Lake Stampede

I really like this event - these guys do it right . This will be our fourth year here in beautiful Cariboo Country - if you've never been to this rodeo it is truly a must see. They maintain all the original events of the old rodeo days - with my favorite - The Mountain Race!!

One of the most impressive things about this event is the community support.  Volunteers are the lifeblood of these events and there is no end to the local participation here in Williams Lake.

What a great event!! Maker Faires Rule!!

A Maker Faire? What is it? If you are a techno geek of any kind you will love this! Everything here is a little off the wall. I just saw a a couch go by me with 12 legs operated by two guys with the tunes blasting.

Now if only the weather would cooperate..........
